Scam 1992 director Hansal Mehta bids final goodbye to his dad
Indian film director and producer Hansal Mehta, who started his career directing with television show Khana Khazana informed his fans through his twitter handle that his father Deepak Subodh Mehta is no more.
Calling his dad most handsome man, hero and legend, he shared the picture with his father and wrote a heartfelt note for him. He tweeted, “I always thought he would outlive me. I was wrong. See you on the other side Pappa. The most handsome man in the world. And the most gentle and generous human being that I’ve ever met.”
He further added, “Thank you Pappa for your unconditional love. Thank you my legend, my hero.”

Soon after Hansal Mehta shared the news, condolences began pouring in on social media. Many Bollywood celebrities expressed grief by commenting on Hansal Mehta post.
In the comments box actor Farhan Akhtar wrote, “Deepest condolences” followed by folded hands.
Actress Pooja Bhatt commented, “My deepest condolences to you and the family Hansal.”
Actor Pratik Gandhi, who was seen in the lead role in Hansal Mehta’s Scam 1992, commented, “Heartfelt condolences sir”
Many actors and directors like Manoj Bajpayee, Nikkhil Advani, Reema Kagti, Aahana Kumra, music director Vishal Dadlani, Raj Nayak and Guneet Monga also commented on Hansal Mehta’s post.
Talking about the work front, Hansal Mehta directed many megahit films like City Lights, Aligarh (2016), Shahid starring Rajkummar Rao. Last Year, Hansal Mehta’s web series Scam 1992 was considered one of the best web series. The series was based on the life of Indian stockbroker Harshad Mehta’s involvement in the 1992 Indian securities scam.
