‘Master’ to get a Hindi remake

Endemol Shine India, Cine1 Studios and 7 screens acquired the rights of the Tamil movie Master.

The Hindi dubbed version of the movie was released on Friday and became the first major Tamil industry film to be released during the pandemic.

Endemol Shine’s CEO Abhishek Rege said that he was quite impressed with the narrative and performances and feels that the story reverberated with audiences throughout India.

He also stated, “We are incredibly proud to have acquired the rights to such a hot property; We look forward to recreating the magic of this film to captivate the Hindi audience.”

The Lokesh Kanagaraj directed movie received an overwhelming response from the audiences and stars Vijay Thalapathy and Vijay Sethupathi in major roles.
The casting of the Hindi adaptation is scheduled to begin soon.
