Review: The Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives

People have been getting stirred by the De Luxe series on the OTT platform Netflix piece of Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Production off late. Undoubtedly, the series limns of rich and ritzy Bollywood wives who have been living the life of dreams. “Well, Of course, they go shopping in Rolls Royce. Is there any other mode of transportation?” But where is the damn “Rolls Royce” Maheep? There isn’t a single pepped photo of wives, husbands, and kids where a Rolls Royce could be spotted.

Maheep Kapoor, Seema Khan, Bhavana Pandey, and Neelam Kothari did their best to show that their lives are “quite mundane”. If we really talk about the cast then we’ll find Anil Kapoor’s sister-in-law, Salman Khan’s sister-in-law, Ananya Pandey’s mother, and Neelam Kothari who was one of the popular actresses of the eighties. All 4 actresses work hard at the posh cafe seats while having wine during their goss sessions. Sitting on the fence, they howl at each other for no rational reason and yet call themselves “sensitive” which is quite chucklesome in the episode.

K Jo did his best to maneuver this show into his personal defence on all the accusations of being a nepotism bearer. He brought into play a quick-witted show that has the same template as “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”. This show initially was expected to be one of those really fancy shows but it ended up getting trolled for all the reeking desperation. This series also informed us of a very spiritual way of lifting our skin at the age of 50 to feel like 40 at least or maybe 45, Reiki. And yeah “bitch” and “cow” are the coolest name for best friends.

In a nutshell, it is perpetually fun to watch a show with high-end trips, glamorously glistening sequence outfits, Prada tracks, high heels, luxurious jewellery, and very charming, the king himself, Shah Rukh Khan.
