Late Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor’s last movie ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ was left incomplete due to the actor’s demise on April 30 last year. After the death of the 67-year-old star Excel Entertainment has now decided to rope in famous actor Paresh Rawal to shoot the remaining portions of the film.
According to a source at PTI, Paresh Rawal will play the same character in the movie as Rishi Kapoor. The source also added that Paresh Rawal has agreed to shoot the remaining scenes and will begin the shoot soon.
The movie would be a directorial debut for Hitesh Bhatia and would also star Juhi Chawla. Produced by Excel Entertainment in association wit MacGuffin Pictures, the movie is scheduled to release on September 4, 2021, which marks Rishi Kapoor’s birth anniversary.
