The film slice-of-life Uma is a forthcoming movie in Hindi, which will be a production of AVMA Media ( by Avishek Gosh) and Miraj Group (by Mantraraj Paliwal). The lead actress seen in this film is Kajal Aggarwal and the on board creative producer of the slice-of-life is Sujoy Ghosh. The movie is going to be directed by debutante Tathagata Singha.
Kajal Aggrawal mentioned she is excited to play the character of Uma in the film. With the arrival of stranger Uma, the drama unfolds itself and is set with an aristocratic household with a wedding backdrop where the entire family assembles.
The other cast of the upcoming movie is yet to be disclosed. In the second-half of 2021, the film Uma is set to be shot keeping all the COVID-19 protocols in consideration, announced the producers.
The actress added her statement, “I am very happy to be collaborating with AVMA Media, Avishek and director Tagatha on an extremely interesting film.”
